A mental health journey for adolescents and young adults

UX/UI Design Team Lead

DiscoverU is a safe, trusted, user-friendly platform to connect people to information and resources regarding adolescent and young-adult mental health. It draws on Colorado themes of journeying and climbing higher to provide a fun and relatable narrative for the learning process. My role as the UX/UI Design Lead was to meet regularly with our team from the Graduate School of Professional to conceptualize the application for users as well as the content creation website for the professional psychologists. This includes creation of features and functionality, themes, graphic designs, and Figma prototypes for the rest of the development team to build.

Content Creation Website

In addition to designing the application itself, our team was tasked with creating a content creation website solely for the use of our Psychology team to be able to dynamically and continuously upload new content, creating new “trails” and “journeys” independent from the DevOps team.
